With almost 1 year worth of data, it’s time to do some work on it and perhaps give some useful results for people and of course for myself.

I started to search for a library to perform graphing, I initially thought it would be easy to find a decent open source library. To my dismay not much. Maybe i’m using a wrong query. A few queries later, here are some of the better libraries that I manged to find

1. PChart pchart.sourceforge.net/
2. GraPHPite graphpite.sourceforge.net/
3. JPGraph www.aditus.nu/jpgraph/ [Pro Version available] Meaning not fully open source
4. Libchart naku.dohcrew.com/libchart/pages/introduction/
5. Sparklines www.sparkline.org

Heavier Charts ( Flash Based )
1. Open Flash teethgrinder.co.uk/open-flash-chart-2/

Ligher Charts ( Javascript Based )
1. Flot JQuery based code.google.com/p/flot/

Other Options
1. Google Chart code.google.com/apis/chart/

It has been a rocky year so far, financial is down worldwide, retrenchment is high, sentimentals with people are bad and low.

I myself have been confused with what to do at this junction. I don’t see myself where i would be in 5 years time. I have no plans. I have too many things on hands that I “need” to clear, too many things that i’m interested to learn more. I always have this problem of getting interested in too many things and never master any of these things i’m interested in. I’m a jack of all trade, master of none. How many of you have these problems like i have? Too many interesting things, information overload i say. That’s why i use smplayer to play my videocast, podcast 50% faster, trying to clear these things fasters. But how many of these are useful in my future, and add value to myself? A recent check, i have 32Gb of podcast/videocast to skim through! Ouch. Why bother…. Probably i should just Select All and delete, and i won’t skip a beat.

On conversation witha old friend of mine, have made me more determined to work out what i should be doing and to plan, focus and getting things done! Many of the things we discussed strike a chord with me. We both want to do something in our lifetime.

I have many ideas and things like always. Thus I have been thinking. How can I get more focused and really concentrate on what I want in life. Somethings in my life
1. Family
2. Job related improvement, there is just so much things to learn and explore in game development, it’s scary.
3. Getting to be more financally stable and wise.
4. Technology and innovative ideas. I’m always fascinated by technology and innovative ideas.
5. Photography. I always wanted to take better photos.
6. Several business ideas and web application that i have in my mind

How often do you have a TODO list? I have a TODO list reminding me for bill payment, birthdays, clearing up of house on my WM phone. But it dawn to me, probably i should put my bigger goals under my TODO list? So basically these goals are to be put on the TODO list, to constantly remind myself what are my goals. This hopefully will get me to understand the bigger picture and making me focus on what’s important. There is only 24 hours in a single day after-all! So we need to prioritize what’s important in our life! We have to let go some things in life I suppose.
So, sit down, think about what you want to achieve in life and put it right on time of your TODO list. When thinking about what you should be doing, or should you be doing a specific thing, make sure that it’s part of your big picture TODO list. Good luck everyone, hope things pan out as what you have planned.

By just blowing into the mic input of the iphone, and covering the 4 holes on the UI, different pitches are generated. I think i might be out of date, as this is such a simple application, but it has such fun! Online scores of popular songs are also available at their websites. Furthermore there are also some sharing of the music that you have played/created, a great social experience and also a graphical feast, as the blobs are floating around the globe. Reminds me much of flOw and flOwer.

So many bad news.
It’s pretty depressing to see so many bad things especially financially, it really hit hard. Hope there can be a recovery in sight, or least hopefully i know what to do to tide this over or even ride on this.
